Tunisian Throw Pillow: Crochet Class at Admit Ewe Knit
Tunisian Crochet is a generations old technique that crocheters and knitters are literally getting hooked on!. This is an advance beginner crochet class! We will make blocks for a 16"x 16" Tunisian Throw Pillow.
Skills Needed: This is an advance beginner crochet class. You should be able to make a starting chain. You should be comfortable with the single and double crochet stitches.
Skills Learned: You will learn to make a foundation row, the tunisian simple, tunisian knit and tunisian purl stitches. Also, we will learn two joining techniques: slip stitch and mattress stitch.
In Class: We will work on a set of 4 pattern blocks and joining. Students will repeat the 4 blocks for a second set outside of class on their own to complete the pillow.
Supplies:
- Size J/ 6.0 mm tunisian hook or cable that is at least 9" long.
- 385 yards of worsted weight yarn**.

- 16" x 16" pillow form.
